#09 Rust - 1 yd.

For Hanger:
#00 Black - 3 feet (cut into two 1 1/2 feet strips)
#41 White - 1 1/2 feet strip

Stitches Used:

Continental Stitch
Overcast Stitch

Instructions:

Cut 1 piece of 62X53 threads (61X52 holes) according to the pattern. Follow the pattern to stitch the project. Overcast the entire pattern in the colors at that area. Thread 1 strip of Black yarn and 2 strips of white yarn through the same hole at the top of one ear. Tie all three strips together in front and trim to the length you wish for the strands to show. While holding the project (I did this between my knees) start to braid the three strips together. You will need to hold the braided strips as you feed all three individual strips through the backside of other side of the cow (all through the same hole and it might be easier if you can get someone to hold the braided strip while you work the ends through the hole) Once you have pulled the strips through, pull so the braided section is all the way touching the back of the cow and then tie in a knot in front and trim to the length you wish for the strands to show - the same length as you did on the other side. And there you have it....
Have a Moo-rrific day!!!
