With sewing needle and white thread, starting and ending on either side of back opening, sew this bead string around dress waist (Be sure to leave enough slack so that dress waist will close around doll’s waist).
STEP 3: Place dress on 53/4" Ariel Air Freshener Doll. Close back hooks. Place doll on cone-shaped air freshener.
Finishing
Wings
STEP 1: Wrap a 24" piece of white/gold crochet cotton around neck, front to back, pulling ends even.
STEP 2: Pass ends through doll’s hair and tie in a knot. Wrap crochet cotton tightly around center of 73/4" nylon wings and tie in a bow.
STEP 3: Fold wing ends forward as shown on photo.
Halo
STEP 1: Cut 19 forget-me-not flowers off stems and press flat. Starting at center of a 12" piece of 1/8" white satin ribbon, and alternating colors, hot glue 10 flattened flowers side by side along ribbon, leaving about 31/2" of ribbon on either end.
STEP 2: Hot glue rem 9 flowers on top of and between every 2 first
row flowers.
STEP 3: Wrap ribbon halo around doll’s head and tie in a double knot at center back. Trim ribbon ends on an angle.
Basket
STEP 1: Cut stems from rem forget-me-not flowers to 11/2". Arrange and hot glue all flowers inside bottom of 21/2" basket. Hot glue 3" flying bird to rim of basket just in front of handle.
STEP 2: Tie a 12" piece of 1/8" white satin ribbon in a double knot around top of basket handle. Tie ribbon ends in a bow around doll’s right wrist.
Trim ribbon ends on an angle.

Beading Notes:
1. To thread beads onto crochet cotton: cut eye off end of beading needle, fold needle (or very fine wire) in half pinching fold tightly. Thread about
2" of crochet cotton end into fold. Pass both points at other end of needle through bead hole and pull all the way through. Rep for each bead.
At end of last bead, remove needle.

2. To crochet beads into work: push next bead about 1/2" from hook, insert hook into next st and draw up a lp pushing bead through st right behind hook (so bead lays on top of work), complete st.
3. Keep beads as close as possible to work to keep crochet cotton from twisting. Move beads back onto crochet cotton as you work.
