one set at neck. (If using hook and loop tape, do not sew hooks and
eyes. Do not apply tape at this time.)
STEP 2 (Beadstring Trims):
A. Starting at back neck opening, hot glue (or sew) a 3-3/4-in. piece of
4 mm white iridescent pearl beadstring across neck between Neck Row 1
(sc row) and neck edging, ending at opposite back neck opening. (For
proper fit, stretch neck as you glue or sew to fit 3 3/4 in. beadstring
length.)
B. Hot glue (or sew) a 10-in. piece of 4mm pearl beadstring from right
back bodice top opening across back right bodice top, over right
shoulder at top of sleeve, across front bodice top, over left shoulder,
and across left back bodice top to left back opening. Trim beadstring
even with back edge.
C. Starting at underarm, hot glue (or sew) a 2-1/2-in. piece of pearl
beadstring around bottom edge of sleeve, centering one pearl at sleeve
point. Rep for other sleeve. Trim beadstring as necessary.
D. Starting at back opening, not glue (or sew) an 8-1/2-in. piece of
beadstring around dropped waist above ruffle, ending at opposite back
opening. Trim beadstring as necessary.
E. Starting at side of dropped waist, hot glue (or sew) a 39-in. piece
of beadstring around train just inside ruffle, ending at opposite side
of dropped waist. Trim beadstring as necessary.

of beadstring around top of Skirt Bottom Ruffle. Trim beadstring as
necessary. Set dress aside.
STEP 3: Cut stems off seven 5/8-in. white ribbon roses. Cut large top
leaf off two 3-leaf stems of white cloth tiege leaves. Place leaves and
roses right side up on newspaper. Spray leaves and roses with spray glue
and sprinkle with iridescent fine glitter. Let dry. Shake off excess
glitter. Set leaves and roses aside.

STEP 4 (Bustle): Cut a 30-in. piece of 3/8-in. white satin ribbon.
Starting and ending on right side, skipping first 5 and last 5 ch-2 lps,
weave ribbon through center 8 ch-2 lps of Train Row 15. Pull ribbon ends
even. Tie ribbon tightly into a
3-1/2-in. bow. Trim ends on an angle and let ends hang down back of
train. Hot glue one glittered leaf to each side of bustle under bow. Hot
glue 4 glittered roses in a cluster to center of bow. (Refer to photo.)
STEP 5: Tie a 1-in. bow in center of each of two 20-in. pieces of white
satin ribbon. Hot glue one glittered rose to center of each bow. Hot
glue one bow with rose to each side of train just behind point where
dropped waist beadstring meets top of train beadstring. Trim ends on an
angle and let ends hang down side of train. Set dress aside.
STEP 6: Take shoes off 15-in. doll. Put on tights and replace shoes.
Place dress on doll. If using hook and loop tape, place a 3-1/2-in.
piece of tape, hook side only, against center back of doll with hooks
facing out. Press center back dress edges against tape firmly to close.
STEP 7: Hot glue (or sew) front skirt top ruffle to skirt about 1-in.
below dropped waist beadstring and 1-in. in front of each side of train
beadstring (to avoid front ruffle flaring).
STEP 8: Hot glue one glittered rose to center front bodice just below
beadstring.
Headpiece
Starting at center of crown with white and size E hook, ch 30. Being

(For a better fit, stretch headpiece slightly as you glue or sew to fit
7-1/2-in beadstring length. Set headpiece aside.
STEP 2: Cut stems off white ribbon roses. Spray roses with spray glue
and sprinkle with iridescent fine glitter. Let dry. Shake off excess
glitter.
STEP 3: Hot glue the 5 glittered roses evenly spaced around headpiece
over beadstring.
Veil

STEP 1: Round the corners of a 20x20-in. piece of white tulle. Sew an
80-in. piece of 1/2-in. white flat lace with scalloped edge around
entire outside edge of tulle piece.
STEP 2: Fold veil (with wrong sides tog) so that 2 bottom edges are
4-in. apart at center (see Figure). Mark center point of top folded
edge. Measure 5-1/2-in. from center point toward each side and mark with
pins.
STEP 3: With sewing needle and white thread, run a gathering st between
pins through both tulle layers, a 1/4-in. down from folded edge. Pull
gathers until width between pins is 1-in. Remove pins. Secure and trim
thread ends.
STEP 4: Pass gathered section of veil through top of headpiece. With
joining seam of headpiece to the back, sew gathered section of veil with
shorter layer to the top to inside front of headpiece, centered behind
front rose. Set aside.
STEP 5: Tie a 12-in. piece of white satin ribbon tightly into a 2-in.
bow around ponytail rubber band. Trim ribbon ends on an angle.
STEP 6: Place headpiece securely on head, centering front rose.

tying bouquet to hand). Remove marker.
Bouquet Finishing
(Note: In all gluing steps, be careful not to glue 8-in. yarn ends.)
STEP 1: With tapestry needle, weave 8-in. finishing end of bouquet base
through wrong side sts to center of base close to 8-in. starting length.
Let ends hang.
STEP 2: Cut 3 large white leaves off stems. Working as before, spray the
3 leaves and 12 white roses on stem with spray glue and sprinkle with
iridescent glitter. Let dry and shake off excess glitter.
STEP 3: Insert stems of 12 glittered roses into right side of bouquet
base center hole. Hot glue rose stems in base hole, and cut stems even
with bottom of hole. Hot glue leaves evenly spaced around right side of
base under roses.
STEP 4: Cut 2 20-in. pieces of 3/8-in. white satin ribbon. Tie center of
each ribbon into a 3-in. now. Hot glue one bow directly above the other
at underside of bouquet base near stems at front of bouquet. Trim ribbon
ends on an angle and let ends hang down.
STEP 5: Hot glue ends of a 9-in. piece of beadstring tog, side by side
(making a lp). Rep with 2 more 9-in. pieces of beadstring. Hot glue ends
of beadstring lps to underside of bouquet base: one lp on each side and
close to bows and one lp to center of bows, letting beadstring lps hang
down.
STEP 6: Using 8-in. yarn ends from bouquet base, tie bouquet to dollís
right wrist. Trim yarn ends.
