COLLAR

Row 1 - With wrong side of neck edge facing you, join blue w/sl st in first ch of beg ch, ch 1, sc in same sp & in ea ch across, ch 2, turn (20 sc).
Row 2 - dc in first sc, 2 dc in ea sc across to last sc, dc in last sc, ch 2, sl st in same sp. Fasten off.
Row 3 - With wrong side of last row facing you, join white baby yarn w/sl st in side of first row of collar, ch 1, sc in same sp, 3 sc in side of ch 2 sp, sc in ea dc across collar, 3 sc in side of ch 2 sp, sc in side of first collar row. Fasten off.

EDGING

With right side facing you, join blue w/sl st on top right edge, ch 1, sc in same sp, sc in side of ea sc row, 2 sc in side of ea dc row, sc in ea dc across bottom, 2 sc in ea dc row up side, sc in ea sc row to top edge, ch 1, sl st in same sp as last sc was made. Fasten off.

SLEEVES make 2

Rnd 1 - Using size G hook, join blue w/sl st in 2nd ch at underarm, ch 1, sc in same ch & in next ch, sc in next 9 sc of armhole, sc in last ch at underarm, sl st to beg sc, ch 1, do not turn (12 sc).
Rnds 2 - 10 - sc in ea sc around, join, ch 1. (12 sc)
Rnd 11 - * sc in next sc, dec over next 2 sc. Repeat from * around, join, ch 1. (8 sc)
Rnd 12 - sc in ea sc around. Drop blue. DO NOT FASTEN OFF.
Rnd 13 - Holding white baby yarn inside sleeve, pull up a lp in ea st around, join. Fasten off white.
Rnd 14 - Picking up blue again, ch 1, sc in ea sc around, join. Fasten off.

FINISHING

Sew 4 - 5 mm pearls to right front for looks. Sew 3 small snaps to front of blouse overlapping right over left. Match 3 snaps with 3 bottom pearls.
Fringe 1 strand of white baby yarn in ea unworked lp of Rnd 5. Trim to 1 inch.

SKIRT

Row 1 - Using size G hook and blue yarn, ch 23, sc in 2nd ch from hook & in ea ch across, ch 1, turn (22 sc).
Row 2 - sc in ea sc across, ch 3, turn. (22 sc)

Rnd 1 - Using size G hook, & using 4 ply white yarn, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join w/sl st in beg sc, ch 1, do not turn (6 sc).

FINISHING

Step 1 - To shape front top of hat, thread needle with 8" of white yarn & bring to front inside crown. Push in crown, pinch front tog, tack front of crown in place, tie yarn ends tog on inside of crown.
Step 2 - With blue yarn & size E hook, ch 130. Fasten off. Do not weave in yarn ends. Thread yarn end into needle, pull chain thru left side at base of crown on underside, leaving about 6" of ch dangling for tie, wind ch around crown 1 1/2 times, having double chains in front. Run remainder of ch thru to bottom of crown on opposite side of crown. Thread both yarn ends thru needle. Pull both ch ends thru 1 pony bead, push bead up & position bead on right side of face. Trim yarn ends to 1 inch.
Step 3 - Thread 1/2 yd blue yarn into needle. Starting at brim back, use whip stitch to sew around hat brim over sc & sl sts. Tie yarn ends tog under brim of hat at back.
